After talking about global goals and different ways Cougars could make a difference, Mrs. Kristen’s first grade class constructed a map of their hallways water fountain and bathroom locations. The class thought the map would be helpful to new students. They carried out the planning process and created a very useful product!





This week, Officer Brett's EAST students connected through team-building exercises, such as the "Who Am I?" game and a personality test to reveal their "True Color." They had an awesome first week!

Parents of seniors, please ask them if they have received papers with yearbook info? If not, they need to pick up from Mrs. Jackson next week. This is their opportunity to be showcased in the yearbook at no cost with their baby/senior pictures and senior quote. Senior composite photos will be taken on Wednesday! Additionally, they can pre-order their yearbook and/or purchase a senior recognition ad.



We can’t wait to see you tomorrow for the inaugural ICC Classic Lamb & Goat show! It’s going to be a beautiful morning in the 70s. 🐑🐐

Meet Elizabeth the roly-poly. Jordyn found her on the playground Wednesday and brought her to class. Yesterday, Elizabeth helped Mrs.TaKara's 1st graders complete their first STEM project and learn about criteria and constraints. The kids did a great job following the criteria and constraints set for this task!









Mrs. Jackson's business education students have learned about web ethics and safety this week, with an emphasis on cyber bullying. They used a variety of technological methods to research the topic, collaborate in groups, and then create and deliver a presentation to their clasmates. Great job, 7th-12th grade Cougars! Ms. Hannah's 3rd grade class set up their window bird feeder this week. The students did research on different birds they might see coming to eat the seeds!








Mrs. Pool's 8th grade Flight and Space students have completed their first engineering design process by creating a paper airplane in a non-traditional style to land on a target. It was based on the criteria that was given from a toy company to improve their airplane model for the customers.

Intro to Engineering Design students started the year working on their first instant design challenge. Great work by Mrs. Boles and her high school students!




ICC High School junior, Harrison Oss, scored a perfect 36 on his Reading ACT exam! He dedicated the time and put in the effort to attend our free ACT classes before taking the test this summer, and we are so proud of him! He also scored a 35 in English and an overall composite score of 32. Way to go, Harrison!!!


Save the date! Pinkston Photography will return as our school picture day photographers this year. In addition to taking photos for the yearbook, they also offer print and digital copies that can be ordered after viewing your proofs.

ICC Show Team had a great swine show this morning at the Izard County Fair. We are so proud of all of the exhibitors! They all worked so hard and it was so fun to watch them drive their projects in the ring. It was neat to see 100% of pigs in the county bred show driven by members of the ICC team.
