
The Lady Cougars defeated the Bay Yellowjackets, 63-33, in the first round of the Northeast Arkansas Invitational Tournament. The Lady Cougars jumped out to a 41-8 halftime lead and cruised to the victory. The Lady Cougars (8-5) were led by Quinn Johnson with 20 points. Katie Orf added 12, Tinley Bailey 11, and Olivia Spray 8. Quinn was named the Player of the Game.

The Cougars defeated the South Side Bee Branch Hornets, 66-52, on the road. The Cougars (8-5 overall and 4-3 in the conference) were led by Jude Everett with 24 points and Gabe Spray with 19.
The Junior Cougars defeated the Junior Hornets, 58-23. The Junior Cougars (9-5 overall and 4-0 in the conference) were led by Kade Yancey with 19 points. Braxton McCandlis added 9.
The Lady Cougars fell 73-45 to the Lady Hornets. The Lady Cougars (7-5 overall and 4-3 in the conference) were led by Quinn Johnson with 12 points. Olivia Spray added 10 and Makensie Yancey 9.

The Cougars will compete in the Bad Boy Mowers Ronnie Brogdon Invitational on Tuesday, December 26th at 4:00 PM against the Mammoth Spring Bears at the A. L. Hutson Gymnasium in Highland. Admission is $10.00 (12 and under are free). AAA Passes will be accepted. Go Cougars!

Katie Orf added 14. Makensie Yancey chipped in 13, Tinley Bailey 10, Quinn Johnson 7, and Breyona Fortney 7.
The Junior Cougars rallied from an 11 point first half deficit to defeat the Junior Greyhounds, 47-40. The Junior Cougars (8-5 overall and 3-0 in the conference) were led by Kade Yancey with 14 points. Benniah Spray added 12 and Aaron Dockins 11.
The Cougars fell 62-48 to the Greyhounds. The Cougars (6-4 overall and 3-3 in the conference) were led by Gabe Spray with 18 points and Kasen Black with 16.

The Izard County Cougars advanced to the finals of the Battle of the Border Tournament at Mammoth Spring with a 77-64 win over Mtn. View Liberty. The Cougars (6-3) were led by Gabe Spray with 36 points. Jude Everett added 14 points, Keaton Melton 12, and Kasen Black 9.
